RLSMedia.com - The Elizabeth Fire Department are on the scene of a house that has structural damage after a vehicle drove off of the road and struck it.
Emergency crews responded to the 800 block of Jersey Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle that collided into a house .
Upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle was located suffering unspecified injuries, and was taken to an area hospital, according to officials.
A structural beam supporting the house was knocked to the ground as a result of the crash.
Construction officials were notified.
